Natural History Photographs

The natural history guide I used identified the area north of Megalochori as a must for orchid aficionados. Certainly this attracted me to this area, but clearly it was too early in spring for the Chesnut forest, since these trees were still without leaves. Perhaps this shouldn't have come as a surprise, but the guide gave no indications about the time of the year for the botanical delights it mentioned. At the pass, I only found some early spring flowers, one of which with an interesting fungus infection.
