| I had planned the trip in two parts: the first with Sparti as our home base and the second with Stymfalia. Today, we moved from one home base to the other via Mount Chelmos. I hoped to find early spring flowers in the snow—a realistic possibility given the time of year and the mountain’s elevation. And indeed, I found plenty of flowering crocuses along with other early spring plants. But before reaching Mount Chelmos, we made several stops along the way.
