After a rainy night, we woke up to some sunshine, and after breakfast, we headed to our first destination, Sparti. Soon enough, the sky clouded over, and when we stopped in Argos to look for the first plants, it started to rain. Since Matty was away shopping, we could do nothing but get soaking wet. Despite these less favorable conditions, the fields were abundant with flowers, and I had already made some nice finds. |

After getting soaking wet in the rain, we continued driving along Route 7 toward Sparti. Near the village of Kougeika, the road turned into a true mountain pass with a beautiful series of hairpin bends. Visibility was minimal due to the low-hanging clouds, but when the rain temporarily stopped, I spotted an opening in the forest along the road, and we briefly stopped so I could search for plants. |

After a second stop in a soaking wet woodland clearing, we moved on, and the rain temporarily stopped—even allowing some sunshine to break through. We made one more stop before continuing to Sparti without further interruptions. |
