I'm not sure what the white fluffy stuff at this male's thorax is,
but I expect it indicates a very recent emergence from pupa.
This male was continuously running up and down grass stems, with
the abdomen in contact with the stem. My interpretation is that
this male is leaving behind some scent trail, for whatever reason.
Notice the wide open jaws which surround the grass stem.
